Clavet Composite School wanted new spirit wear for students, families and staff. The shirts were never the hard part. Collecting sizes and money from hundreds of families was. So instead of paper forms and a cash envelope, we built the school its own online store.

The problem every school knows

Spirit wear orders usually go the same way. A volunteer sends home a paper form, families send back sizes and cash in an envelope, someone types it all into a spreadsheet, and after the boxes arrive a few teachers spend an afternoon sorting hundreds of loose shirts in the gym. Wrong sizes, missing names and late payments are part of the deal.

Clavet Composite wanted the gear without the paperwork. They also wanted to show it off properly: real samples families could see and try on at parent teacher interviews, and an easy way to order on the spot.

What we built

We set up a dedicated Clavet Composite store at team.saskatoontees.ca with the school's cougar designs on tees, hoodies, crewnecks, zip hoodies, sweatpants, joggers and beanies, in youth, ladies and unisex sizes.

  1. Designs first. The school picked their favourite cougar artwork and we built a full set of mockups in different styles around it, so the committee could approve the whole collection in one go.
  2. Samples and sizing. We printed samples and try-on sizes so families could check the fit in person before ordering.
  3. One link and a QR code. The store went live in time for parent teacher interviews. Families scanned a QR code, picked their items and sizes, and paid by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  4. Every order sorted by homeroom. When the store closes, we print everything, pack each order on its own with the buyer's name, and sort the bags by homeroom teacher so they go straight to the right classroom.

What the school did not have to do: collect a single payment, chase a single size, or sort a single box.

Why it works for schools

  • No upfront cost to the school. Each family pays for their own order at checkout.
  • Every size covered. Youth, ladies and unisex fits mean students, parents and staff can all match.
  • No minimums. One hoodie or three hundred, every order gets the same care.
  • Fundraiser option. A school can set its price a little higher and we send the difference back after the store closes.

Common questions

How long does a school store stay open?

The school picks the open and close dates. We confirm the delivery date before the store goes live.

Can teachers and staff order too?

Yes. Anyone with the link can order, and staff orders get sorted the same way.

Do you only do schools in Saskatoon?

We print in Saskatoon and work with schools and teams across Saskatchewan. Orders can be delivered to the school or shipped.

Ready to print it?

Tell us what you need and we will handle the rest, from artwork setup to a mockup you approve before anything prints.
